wellfleation, after taking a 2nd gander at your picture. I think you're actually burning your weed. I can see black behind the screen.
I don't know, maybe I just don't smoke enough weed, but none of my vaporizers have ever come close to that dirty. It is possible to burn your weed with any vaporizer. |

I've smoked out of ssv type vapes, though they were slightly cheaper ones, and they were pretty good.
I smoked out of a digital volcano and even though the herbage was far from dank it blew any other vaping experience i've had way out of the water.

According to 7th Floor, they have had a random SSV running for three years straight with zero issues. That's another plus, reliability. The thing is so reliable that my wife was spraying Lysol (she just does this to piss me off as there is no smell in our musky 1920's cellar and vaping leaves little to no odor) and she didn't know my SSV was on (it always on when I have weed). She accidentally sprayed over it and it briefly caught on fire for a moment. Still works 100%. I think the reliability factor is due to the simplicity of the design. And even if the heater unit does eventually fail it is user replaceable and costs I think only around $50 or so.

I have no bud so I did a double vape. Compare and contrast (still not burnt if you ask me and I'm getting vape).Prior pre-vaped weed:
![]() Double vaped weed: ![]() I plan on baking the rest tomorrow in a VERY small batch (like 2) of brownies or something.

Actually what you are seeing is how that glass piece is colored as it is colored dark in that area. It still gets a different form of not ass dark (further down), non-sticky resin (around the screen area) you can clearly see and ball up with you finger with no mess.

Yeah I don't think you'd want to vaporize or smoke tar.

Here's a guy who is frequently on this forum(Tokin-GLX), explaining wand-hash. But yea that is hash but it looks like your temperature may be a bit high cuz that's pretty gooy/black and wand hash is usually goldenish.

I'm so glad I have my volcano now, there's like nothing wasted. No "wand" to trap your THC, and it's super easy to clean.
Here's my bud after vaping...

^My vaped herb looks like that too Spanky but I have a Magic Flight launch box vape.
It comes with a small tube but I do not use it and many people do not use the tube attachment at all. You can inhale straight from the box/vape. As far as cleaning goes that's very easy I just use the brush that came with it and nothing else is needed. You can save the vaped herb and cook with it to get the CBD and CBN and then vape some THC so it's like smoking or it's like eating herb if you don't vape at all when you eat the herb in brownies, butter, or whatever you put it in.

Sorry, but I believe the only difference is the lighting, really. My vape is as even and efficient as a $600 Volcano. But hey, I know you got to justify the price.

I got it on craigslist some guy had to pay some bills and needed to sell it so I gave him as much money as I had at the time which was $330. It included the solid valve set which I don't know why they don't just come with every volcano but I didn't pay for it! So what ever I would consider it a good deal. Specially since I could probably sell it a year from now and still be able to sell it for more than I got it. It's really easy to keep them clean, that's like really the only advantage I like about the volcano vs. every other vape I've owned.
they all do the same thing. |

What I like about the SSV is you can change the screen in less than ten seconds. The only part impossible to clean is the plastic tubing. The standard tube is 3 feet long and is too long in my opinion. So I cut it at the dirty part, took he dirty part and slit it open, and used rolling papers to get the goo. Smoked/baked, and now I have a clean looking and more manageable tube. Plus the tubes are cheap. I just ordered a 3ft and a 1ft for $12. The class pieces clean easily with rubbing alcohol.
Nice deal you got.
