Did I make hash by accident?

Seems like a stupid question but this vaping shit leaves a much different residue.

So after smoking more than a few ounces of kush through my whip (SSV), I began to notice the screen was gaining residue around the edges, and therefore, the vape would not be even (e.g., efficiently). So I used the poker and easily cleared all this super clean resin, I assume because it’s all vape residue (vape is almost all THC).

Anyway, I poked some serious shit out. It came out in chunks and easily rolled them into this ball:

Question: Is this as good as decent (or even good) hash, coming from a vape that’s all THC?

Keep in mind all the chunks rolled up to a ½ gram (pic makes it look smaller), clearly feels like hash as opposed to resin (can roll it in-between fingers with no mess) , and has a very mild odor.

So is this a form of hash I accidently made or what? Or I’m I naïve?

well its not hash because by definition hash is just the trichomes of the leaf, and you burn that shit when you vape it

its just like high quality resin

I don't want to know how long you had to not clean that to get it that dirty. Also, you have a fat hand. Doesn't look at all like the pictures you've posted before.

I own the same vape and it takes no time flat (couple weeks-month) after you clean it. Advantage of that is you can just re-vape those balls on a higher setting, not that satisfying less you're out and can't find any though.

Edit: also, Wellfleation, let me know how high your temperature dial is if you use the ssv for that, I remember I had to crank mine to 3/4 of the way to get anything.

Remember that Tar is a more accurate name for resin. And no it's definatley not hash.

I've owned a SSV before too, and it wasn't my most favorite vape, but it did the job. I don't remember where I used to keep the knob exactly, but I do not remember it ever getting that dirty.

That's right on. I fill my wip only about 1/8 and usually get a good 1st hit, stir, second good hit, smush stir and then usually get a weeker and less tasteful. It's all about how hard you pull, mixing it up between slower and medium breaths.

I've had mine a year prior to this 1st major cleaning. I love it so I can't imagine what your issue was and what are you using now that is better?

Well I have nothing right now, but you just inspired me to use my remaining $100 on a vaporizer.. The SSV is a great vaporizer, it's way better than the vape bros, but I was introduced to a volcano recently. People say you're just paying for the name for a volcano, but I don't know, they are really good.

The Volcano is the best of the best, so I hear. But for the money, the SSV does a great job and I am not sure if I would like the bag technique of the Volcano. Plus, changing the screen takes 10 seconds with the SSV. But everyone else seems to love the Volcano maybe it would be a good investment.

i scrape my ssv when I have nothing else. It's certainly not hash, but it is a much better alternative to the resin you would scrape out of any old pipe.

I have the DBV which is the cheaper version of the SSV and I love it. I havn't smoked since I got it.

I clean the wand hash (at least that's what most people call it) every couple of months. I usually add it to the oil when I make brownies. I have vaped it a couple of times but I don't like how it gums up the screen I'm using.

I know people who swear by it, I even know some one who put the sticker they got with it on their car bumper! haha

Some people love it, I've owned one before and I didn't see what was so special.

So far in my vape experiences "vapor brothers" is the best bang for your buck.

This is the next best vaporizer I've owned. I've smoked other peoples volcanoes and IMO this is just as good...

It's only $250 too(half the price of a volcano).

This thread inspired me to get a volcano today. I have absolutely no regrets, even if it does mean I have to go to the sperm bank for gas money.
