Deciding whether or not you are a suitable candidate for marijuana? marijuana
I am currently trying to decide whether or not I should try and get my medical marijuana license, and I figured I would ask for some input here before I do so; I don't want to abuse the system; If I am not a fit candidate I don't want to be just one of the people that abuse the system. I think that many people actually need marijuana to deal with pain, and that it would be disrespectful if I didn't really feel that it was necessary.
I am 20 years old and I live in Edmonton Alberta. I don't know of any dispensaries around but there are plenty marijuana paraphernalia shops around. I suffer from depression and anxiety, and currently use three separate anti depressants to help those issues. I have found that Marijuana has helped me with at least two of my issues (anxiety, and insomnia) and has also boosted my motivation. I also have chronic stomach issues which have all but disappeared since I began smoking daily a few months ago. The most important reason that I believe I am a good candidate is because I have auto immune arthritis which flares up every time I get sick. The treatment for that is a medical steroid called Prednisone that has horrible side effects. I am hoping that marijuana could be a replacement for that as well. So, what do you think? Am I a good canidate? Also, how should i go about looking to get a card? I guess I should probably ask my doctor, but I am fairly confident that he would deny my queries. |

It's a long shot especially with anxiety, because doc's will tell you that over time your anxiety will get worse. and your bound to build up a tolerance where it doesn't help as much.
but hey that's what i've been personally told and i'm still trying. best of luck

Ummm, ever doctor shop? I've never needed to, but you could. Aren't there adds is the back of sketchy magazines and such. Just give some other excuse and pay out the ass and you are set. I believe in Cali it is between $250 - $500. (?) The doctors advertise their services in such papers.
