What's the dif between "Haze" & "Kush"?

My new connect always tries to get me the kush because that shit smells unreal and is the real deal three hit deal. The haze, as you will see, looks better in the pix and is good weed, just different high. Most of the people I know (including my girl connect) prefer the kush. Is weed in your area described as such, or is it just my region? I don't bother with anything but the best either way, but it has always been generic in name (although very good weed) haze (usually) but I aim for the kush dispite the misleading pix.

IMO...

"Kush" denotes fluffier weed.

"Haze" aka "Purple Haze" denotes weed that has a purple tint to it.

that's alll.... those pics look fuckin jucy to me man. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I'd just smoke it.

lol kush is a very heavy indica, comming from the origonal hindu kush from india and surriounding areas.

haze was a pure sativa, derived to a long line of strains that have interjected indica traits due to indicas better yields and overall plant structure.

now, this is what its SUPPOSED to be, people call their weed all kinds of dumb shit and dont have a clue why, but these are the actual definitions as a breeder with some knowledge of strain development would tell you.

then you get people like merc...who just make shit up as they go along

and wellf... that first pic doesnt really look hazeish (although it could be an indica dominant cross w/ haze in it).

haze is an electric sativa w/ a long flowering period while kush is a couchlock stoned average flowering time plant.

a pure haze or haze dominant plant will have long, running, spear shaped buds. the high is all in the head. trippy, euphoric. mmmmmm.... sativas.

kush is the other end of the spectrum... generally rock hard, dense, nuggets. thick smoke. usuaslly coated in trichomes. lots of body effect.

Yeah, that is rather a-typical of how "haze" usually looks around my area. It is usually more of a silver tone, still tons of trichomes.

I think people are calling anything that is not train-wreck weed haze and are generalizing with both terms haze and kush accordingly. I just know I did 5 good vapes of the haze (1st pic posted) and am baked off my ass. I also noticed last night after vaping some of that same haze, I then thought about seeing if I could get even more baked by introducing the kush I got yesterday. Well, I got to say, just when I thought I couldn't get anymore wasted I did.

I'm glad you are correct. I just wish weed would be described properly. But for the most part, if you are willing to pay out the nose you can pretty much guarantee it will be really good stuff in my experience, whether it be "haze" or "kush".

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Unless you are in a med dispensary in Cali or in Amsterdam. Humboldt County, BC Canada, and some other areas are accurate as well, however.
