I dunno maybe 5 good friends. I live in a small town where I know everybody, so hundreds of acquaintances. I don't feel as though any of my friends understand me, but that's ok because I understand myself 100%.

It's nice to have friends that don't think like you because I often omit certain things when I just think about it alone. It's sort of like having an arch nemesis except the powers are combined.

At the moment 2-3 true friends, it's not easy if you change 6 countries on 3 different continents in your last 20 years of life...
But it also means that I know heluva lot people from all over the world, internet friends not included.

i'v thought about this alot and i break it down like this. I have my close friends who i can always count on and always stay in touch with. Tend to see these people at least once a week to everyday. I have about 6 of these. one of them being my roomate who i see everyday.

then i have just my friends... dozens of these. people who i dont see everyday but do keep in touch with.

then i have acquaintances some of which i dont know there names, lol

I used to have a lot of friends before i moved to Canada. Now I would say I have 2-3 close friends, with an outer circle that includes about 10-15 people. Thats as good an estimation as I could give...If you wan't a countable number, I currently have 482 friends on facebook (mostly from the U.S.), but that doesn't mean shit; a lot of people I know just add people to add people, even if they don't know them.

I have at least 11 friends that I can trust and can lean to in times of trouble and dispair.
I have hundreds of acquaintances. They're the ones you only during parties, special occasions are always to busy when you really need them. So I really value my friends. I always make it a point to bond with them and tell them and make them feel how much I appreciate them.

I'm tight with maybe 9 or 10 people... like close friends.
But I know and am "friends" with what's got to be 300+ people in my city. And that's not counting the people who's names I've forgotten.

Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

Hmm, how do I define friends... the people who are always real with me, people I spend alot of time hanging out with, people who will jump right in and help a brother out, whether that be to just smoke a bowl or to help me out when shit goes down.

I got alot of friends, and a few great friends. Hell, one of 'em took a bullet for me. .22 to the leg, but still.

Too many to count should have been an option.

Are imaginary friends allowed? should have been an option as well.

I say this because I have too many imaginary friends to count and I could have voted twice
