I have my friends over for dinner.
Sadly, as a mountain cannibal, I find I have very few friends left.

yeah ive got a few close friends, maybe 5 or 6, like guys i can truely count on. then i have people that i know and see here and there who are cool but we dont hang out like true friends do. i keep my closest friends to just a few, weeds out the dishonest people out there.

There have been times in my life when I've had one friend, who was truly a significant person in my life. Right now, I am between such friends (unless you count my wife). However, online (especially on here) I have alot of pretty good friends.

This is kind of a difficult question, tho, because I have never shared my passion in life with anyone. I have never known another person who entertains the kind of ideas about spirituality that I do, or thought that such questions were especially important. As they occupy the majority of my processor time, this makes the question of who has been a "true friend" a little harder to answer. No one has really gotten that close, in that sense.

^Nice.

I have had friends that were still there when everyone else walked out.

Friends that have dropped what they are doing when I needed help.

Friends that took care of business that otherwise would of been mine alone to deal with but for being 2000 miles away.

My Wife and I have both chosen friends over family as Godparents for our daughter.

I have had friends that have really been 'great friends' by not being my friend at all. Until I got my shit back together.

I have lots of friends, I guess. But they are all in different 'orbits' throughout my life, sometimes throughout the day.

When you get to a certain age the question becomes: How many friends do you have left? The answer keeps changing.

There are only 1-2 people on earth I connect with like no other. I try to be a good friend to others and accept their wish to be mine. How many? Couldn't tell ya.

I have had many friends.Unfortunatel y, they are at a huge distance from me, and though we keep in touch...its not the same. I doubt they will ever know how much they are missed in my world and how much of an impact they made upon me, years ago. But my love and admiration for them is still here, in my heart. Over the years, I have made new friends, and lost a few friends...but my memories are with me forever!

I've got lots of friends in my old town but only a few where I'm living now.
