For the longest time I've fantasized about owning a RooR bong but they simply do not sell them just anywhere. I have no idea where to look either. Portland is big enough where i might be able to track one down, but I kind of doubt it. Most of the glass around here is either mass produced or locally blown.


My best bet is the internet but I've heard that most bongs coming from out of the country to the US will get confiscated one way or another. So I've heard most RooR's don't make it or wont even be shipped in the first place (from Germany I believe).


Plus, I don't even really know how much they cost. Any idea??


I've seen so many youtube vid's and I can just TELL that they are the bongs to end all bongs. Any reviews?

They are good shit, they cant confiscate you if you order online...it doesn't work that way if you order from the right website where they put a tobacco use only sticker on it.

I bought my RooR for 110 a good 12'' straight tube with a free grinder from eveyonedoesit.co.uk

^Niiiiice... how do they feel in your hands? Are they heavy and solid? cause they look kind of delicate, like chemistry equipment.

And are they really "the perfect hit EVERY time?" Cause my experience has been that most normal bongs are iffy as far as consistancy. Supposedly the RooR has no "sweet spot", cause every spot is it's sweet spot.

Heavy and solid as fuck, Ive hit it against the table many times, let alone my dog doing the same.

The hits are huge on this beast, and yeah its a great hit every time...

i used a roor one time and it was pretty tall and had an ice catcher in it...it was awesome but id never drop that much money on them...i payed $30 for my bong, it's about 12" tall, it works great for me

I absolutely LOVE my ROOR, I've got a 14" Rasta ROOR that is a blow to the dome every time I hit it. It's a nice thick glass that I'm less worried about breaking, the other pipe in this pic was a custom made piece that a friend of mine had made for me out in NM, it's think as shit and feels like the slightest bump will shatter it, which is why I bought the ROOR in the first place. If you can find one I'd recommend getting all the accessories you can get for it.

I had an 18" Roor that I bought from UK420.com, best weed investment I made. More than paid for itself with the amount of bud I was able to stretch compared to my other pipes/bongs.

When I had ordered it, it did not arrive on the ship date so I contacted the owner of UK420 [knew the owner on their forums] and he expedited the order within the next few days and came with a few extra goodies like a metal grinder, 6 inch papers, and 2 extra glass ash catchers.

they are well made and all that but theyre expensive and you can easily find comprable glass pieces if you know what features to look for.

^ Mos def, but getting custom pieces with similar features will still cost you a pretty penny. A roor is essentially a benchmark that's available on a whim compared to hunting/shopping for a good custom bong.

^word.... and they're a great conversation piece IF the people you're smoking with aren't completely ignorant of the finer points of pot smoking.

I think they look fuckin nice too though. they're so clean and modern looking. MOST other bongs are all colored and frilly; they look like decorative pieces. RooRs look nice and purposeful. I'd love to have one of those sitting on a table next to me.

I think a 12 incher would be perfect.

Kapt-I see you put your bongs on one of those things people get for their cats to play and scratch on. What type of cats do you have?

Mercury-Get a vaporizer instead. They're well worth the money, you conserve herb by vaping less than you would from a bong, and get higher than you do from a bong. You don't have to get the Volcano either in order to get one that's very good at vaporizing and not going to leave you broke.

I knew a kid who had one and I smoked out of it once at his house we took about 2 or 3 hits and then I couldnt even play guitar hero 4 drums and im a drummer! It might have been the highest i've ever been we just ended up watching pineapple express and feeling like Sarah.
