Your favorite part of the high

Everyone has their own preference with the part of their high they enjoy most. I don't want to get into different strains or different highs, so I will just be general.

1. Smoking - You enjoy the taste and the general act of smoking the herb. This is where you anticipate the onset of the high and do the actual smoking.

2. High Onset - This is where to start feeling high initially and feel yourself getting higher and higher. At this point you are probably finishing up your smoke or you and your group are rolling another one.

3. High Climax - This is after you have gotten as high as you possibly can get in this sitting. By this point you have long finished smoking and are relaxed in a good couch lock or head high. You are most likely baked and feeling pretty lazy.

4. High Comedown - This is where the couch lock wears off and you are at a moment of mellow clarity. This is the point where you normally have the munchies a little bit, get spurts of creativity, and can most likely pass as sober.

I personally like the comedown the most. It is the medium where I can be high and still function well enough to enjoy what I am doing with the undertone of being slightly high. Let me know what u guys think!

I say the onset of the high. It combines all the sensory pleasures of smoking (since I can't just sit down to a single bowl) with the uplifting feeling of the chemicals beginning to affect my brain. The comedown portion, I only truly hit when I am completely out of weed (like today), seeing as when the munchies set in and I eat something it kills the buzz and I smoke another bowl. Somehow I only manage to get through 1-1.5 g a day.

Cool poll.

I think I get the most out of the initial part of the high. That is where I lay back, and the ideas start to flow. I haven't gotten used to being high, so I'm the most "disrupted" in the patterns of my thoughts, and so I have the greatest ability to think outside the box of my normal thought patterns. I see myself and the world with renewed vision, and I always come away with great insights.

After that, I generally get comfortable and fall asleep. I love the feeling of the blankets and pillows when I'm high. Everything is so joyously comfy.

I'd say the smoking, that's the main part I look forward to. The onset would be second favorite, though the initial high doesn't last but maybe 20 minutes, then hours of comedown that creates laziness.

So I guess they come in order of how I like em

I don't really like the coughing and harshness of smoking. I'm constalty switching between smoking devices to get a smoother smoking pattern, but the only part of smoking I really enjoy is usually the first half of a blunt or the first clean rip off a nice big glass piece. Since I just got out of the military and I'm still in the month long transition where I'm living at my folks, I can only smoke when the opportunity presents itself.

I like the part where my life doesn't feel as shitty.

But for the poll, I like the onset the most definitely.

Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

the other parts are awesome, dont get me wrong. but nothing is as satisfying as actually smoking.

if this counts are 'part of the high' i guess this would also be mine

once i was in cali for a few days and we couldnt find herb, which is weird in cali i know, but anyway we found some on venice beach and after we smoked on the beach we went to catch the bus home. at the bus stop this super-drunk lady started flirting with me, she was middle aged and nasty as hell, but i just sat there and nodded and egged her on and it was awesome. i woulda never been like that cept i had just taken a huge rip after a break. i dont even know why this story is relevant cept to say that after-break smoking fuckin rules

Thumbs up

The high onset for sure. I use a vaporizer and IME the period of time for the high onset to the high climax/comedown lasts a lot longer with a vaporizer than you get from smoking.

It's more cerebral/psychedelic so it's also like eating herb in food except you don't get so high you can't move at all or you pass out.

I keep my tolerance very low so that also has something to do with it.

Nothing like working hard all day, going home taking one or two good hits, sitting back and just waiting for it to hit you like a sack of bricks. The onset is a great feeling.

I couldn't agree more! It's that onset that does it for me....up, up and away in my beautiful balloon. You know what I'm saying?

All right, now. Time to smoke.

I like to smoke and then let it sink in as the lights brighten, yet dim my mood to a relaxed cool and easy. So I like the start. The end takes care of itself.
