Drug Dealing etiquette?
I am getting absolutely fed up with my dealer. He only answers his phone about 10% of the time, and when he does, he usually is not available to sell anything (WTF, why are you selling drugs then?); by that I mean he is too busy or lazy to hook up a bag, even though he usually has 2-3 ounces on him at a given time. If I am in need of a bag, it usually takes me 3-4 days to get a hold of him, and another 2 to actually acquire the bag. I always end up driving to pick up the stuff (what happened to dealers that would actually make deliveries? I did it when I was dealin'..) and without exception, he always asks for a ride somewhere (which I usually oblige if it isn't too far out of the way).
Take the current situation as an example: I have been trying to score a ounce of green for about a week now. I have had the cash just sitting in my wallet waiting to be spent, but he STILL hasn't gotten back to me. Not even a text with an update. The lazy fuck isn't working, and has 4-5 ounces of stuff right now....to be, this is just unacceptable. He is my only connection at this point (the only connection my group of friends and I really have at this point), so I have to put up with the bull shit, but it is really getting tiresome. Does your dealer put you through shit like this? Whenever I dealt, I always made a point of keeping my phone on, and to hook people up as quick and well as possible (repeat customers?).... |

All right, your dealer sounds like a douche, no lie there. He should be a bit more on the ball, especially for selling an ounce. However, try to remember that your dealer has a life too, and likely it doesn't revolve around selling you weed. Most dealers have day jobs which make them unavailable a lot of the daytime. That being said, you need a new dealer man, one a bit more on the ball.

its not that hard to find new guys but finding a better guy will be even harder. i can walk down to the 24/7 and within half an hour find a bag, not oz, but a bag, and usually the dude is only on the ball that one time but most times i just imagine it being a middle man interested in pinching the sack. in my experience, though, the best are the nice chill homebodies who stick to just selling quality grown by his best friend, from the convenience if his very low key pad. some one whose been in it for a minute.
but never pass up a contact, get the number hit em up the next day, see what he can do for ya and smoke him up fat in honor of the new found bond. thats how you get a dealer to like you, if he likes you, he works for you. just keep the cool, try to be convenient, and if you can, find a guy who doesnt rush things and set up a clock work kinda situation where he can always rely on you hitting em as usual and both you getting to chill and have a smoke sesh. not saying your not, but im just preaching what i practice. ps- if your in a small town, go to shows in the closest big city and be social. bam. |

Ive complained about this alot over the years here, and its interesting people still do it.
Seems like the douche bags always have the best connects and the awesome guys who hook everyone up and still make money and are on the ball, they get washed out. I wont pretend I know why, its just kinda like that. |

Could be the dealer 'noia...or he might just not like you very much...Either way something went wrong to make you slide down his list of priorities...
As mentioned before you could go find another dealer, having more than one is essential for convenience as well as for variety...Or you if the option is open, treat the dude like a friend instead of a stop and rob, most dealers like to kick it with their clients, It helps build trust and could move you up a couple of notches when hes baked out and asks himself "should i get this".... If he continues to shirk you and act like a tryflin' hoe, cut the loss before he starts snicklfritzing you....

uh...what grieves said wasn't pm (warning) worthy. there's nothing wrong with what he said...just an honest opinion to what the OP's problem may be...that the dealer just really doesn't care for the kid so he's not a priority or someone he cares to go out of his way for.

Anyways, I did manage score an ounce of green yesterday from a dealer right off the street ala maszac (good call!), and I am thoroughly satisfied. The only thing is, the whole situation was really sketch. He could have been a cop (far fetched, but who knows?), and the transaction was done in public. It would be so much easier just to have a buddy who I could drop in on a buy a bag from on a regular basis; i wonder how long it will take to find that....Living in the States was such my easier from a weed perspective; since the age of 10 i had friends who were dealing, so I never had an issues with kind of shit before. Anyways, I am rambling, thanks for the comments! |

I've never had a problem with making public transactions. I was a driver for a dealer once and seen many QP's sold in the most busiest places.
If this new guy is better than the other one, buy from him regardless of doing it in public. |

My "dealer" is my friend of 10 years. He's cool as shit and even let's me run a tab. Lately, it's been great as he's had a choice of schwag, mid-grade and dank although it's kinda hard not to go for the dank.

Try this on...
Next time you see your buddy politely tell him " hey man, what the fuck, when I call you, I'm looking to put a little cash in your fuckin' pocket, you could at least have the courtesy to pick up the fuckin' phone I'm probably paying for." Smiling of course. You'd be surprised at how much you can clear up by tellin' the mofo to quit being a dick.

sounds like it's time to stop being a lazy fuck and get off yo ass and find a new, real dealer who actually wants to take your money in exchange for drugs.
