Where is a good place online to order a carbon filter?
Not for growing, as in the adapter for the bong. The only online head shops that seem to carry it are in Europe, so I was hoping to find one in North America.
Here is what it looks like: ![]() The carbon goes in the spherical part; the smoke is pulled through the carbon which filters out quite a few of the nastier smoke particles. Any help finding a online shop that has one would be much appreciated! |

Don't see the need...
Maybe if I were pulling nasty shit (like tobacco) through my bong it would make a difference but sounds more like hype to me.

Activated Carbon doesn't really scrub the smoke does it. I though all it was used for was de-scenting. Its a HEPA filter that does scrubbing.

Can you get a HEPA with a bong attachment? De-scenting by itself would be a plus; despite the fact that i have a ash catcher for my bong + I clean it on a regular basis with rubbing alcohol and rock salt, it still smells like shit.

Depends what you are trying to filter out.
Using a hepa stylie filter will be great for filtering out THC, those fat sticky molecules will be the first to be trapped in the fibres. Better get a vape and some top quality weed if you're bothered about what you're inhaling.

Its more like it de-scents the exhale. the interior of the bong still stinks. For that, add one or two drops of vanilla extract. It mixes with the resin smell, makes it more like flavored tobacco.

I guess de-scenting the exhale would be good to at this point considering i'm in a pretty non smoking friendly place, but i don't get caught, so its not a big deal. |
