hey everyone.
I live in Holland at the moment and am taking a trip to Portugal soon and want to bring a bit of hash with me.

i have spoke with a few friends about this and most of them say just put it in your pocket no worries. I assume that there won't be any drug dogs to worry about, and i have traveled a lot through Europe with very minimal security.

But I thought i would ask and see if anyone else has any experience with this and could offer some tips.

Seems like it would be safer to get some weed while you're there- it should be fairly easy to come by in Portugal.

Security is pretty thorough most of the time nowadays even for flights within the EU. I'd be shitting bricks- just over a blim of hash .

err well first of all, in Holland, whats the line with pot there? If it's decriminalized there, find out the laws about trafficking. I'm pretty sure that bringing pot there wont be too big of a deal but dont try to bring any back. I went to England last summer, last day we were there i found some in my bag, but it was like .2 of a gram? yeah, about that.

hey don't be too jealous, the weed at home is just as good except here its twice the price.
after 5 months of living here i can officially say I am horribly disappointing with he average quality of the weed in Holland.

Being able to buy it anywhere and smoke it casually in bars while playing pool and whatnot is pretty nice though

I think that the weed is the same everywhere now. Just different methods and successes.
All the fancy dan breeders in Kanada move out anyways.

I forgot my roaches from Roger Waters in my pack of smokes last time I flew back from Vancouver and they didn't even notice. I ate two grams worth of butter in the airport bathroom last time I flew back from Regina, it kicked in heavily as I was in line for security and no security personnel cared that my eyes were bitched to shit(which was probably a great way to ask for a cavity search now that I look back on it lol). I think you're working it up too much though. No airport security staffer is getting paid enough(nor cares enough if you're departing from Holland) to look at every square inch of your luggage on their tiny little screen. They're mostly looking for weapons or potential bombs. Just put it in with a box of candy or something with a similar size to it and look somewhat presentable on the day of travel and you're golden.

its not so much departinng holland I am worried about its arriving an going through customs in portugal.

at this point i have two weeks till i arrive and was thinking of mailing it to the hostel i will be staying at, this is probably lower risk.

i mean its not a huge deal for me to go without weed of two weeks but come on its a surf trip how am i supposed to do nothing but surf my ass off without a bit of weed

if portugal is in shengen you can probably expect minimal security. i have never been to portugal but i traveled a lot in and out of the shengen zone occaisionally with some weed and hash from holland. it has risks, and its probably better to look for weed in portugal.

really wishing that i bought a quarter of buds with me now, there was absolutely no security whatsoever I practically could have walked through with the bag in my teeth. I did however use my old trick of sticking a piece of hash inside a piece of gum and walk through the gates chewing my gum" I also mailed a couple grams t the hostel if it didn't get screened i should have it tomorrow.
