I joined this site over 4 years ago. I heard about vaporizers soon after I started smoking. But they all seemed too expensive so I said, "Fuck that". About a year ago I decided to buy one. In terms of value, health and experience... the vaporizer rules all.

Value - An 1/8 used to last me less than a week when smoked. An 1/8 now lasts at least 2 weeks, even when shared with moochers. The amount of bud you would need to grind up and roll into a fat blunt would LITERALLY make at least 4 FAT vape bowls. And one fat vape bowl has at least 10 solid hits.

Health - It's healthier to inhale vapor than carcinogenic smoke blah blah blah, we've all heard it before. I don't know the exact science behind it, but it makes sense.

Experience - Vapor tastes better than smoke. Simple as that. After about 7 or 8 hits the bowl becomes noticeably browner, and the tastes starts to get sketchy after that.. but even the nastiest vape hit tastes better than smoke

I do not work for any vaporizer company... I have no reason to promote this. I am just like you, a pot head who was skeptical about vaporizers until I bought one.

I own these vaporizers and I use them at least 3 times a day.

I looked at the vapor bros. That wood exterior was classy looking but the downward slanted heater was sketch. I went with the 7th floor vape because of the glass on glass system and the position of heater.

I put a couple dvd cases under the back two feet of the buddha so the weed doesn't spill over and stays level during the hit. you should try this vape, you get insane hits.

oh I should have mentioned you can get the Amazon.com: Silver Surfer Vaporizer in Black Hands Free GG with SSV Hemp Carrying Bag: Health & Personal Care it's basically the same but with an even better positioned heater that does the work for you. But it's $60 more.

In the 6 years ive had my vapor bros i have never had a problem with the downward slant of the heating element, due to suction, or the size of hits...I prefer the whip system vapes to other methods, ill have to check into the 7th floor to see if it would be worth investing in, or just redundant...

Edit: Just caught this post, yeah I've tried the silver surfer with varying results, its not my favorite by any means though...

You used the vape wrong or you vaped schwag. I had a high tolerance from smoking and when I started vaping I still got really high off less (after I figured out how to use it ).

Ya know, I wasn't smoking shwag. Try medical weed. And it wasn't due to operator failure, as I wasn't the only one vaping and others got high. Hell, I got a buzz myself but compared to the high I'd get smoking the same amount of weed from my bong, it might as well have been nothing. My bong/pipe/joints/blunts give me a better high, longer lasting buzz, and I also think it tastes better than the vapor. But thats just my preference. You can do whatever the fuck you want as long as you don't bug me about it.

the vape pays for in self in about an ounce. Just don't buy one of those cheap shit globe vapes, or anything with a heating plate. You want a convection vape.

Yeah, I was looking for something top of the line but not in the price range of the Volcano... this one seemed to get really good reviews so I went with it.

I'll admit I had buyers remorse after first getting it, knowing how much I had just spent, but the vape's efficacy, many trinkets/pieces, and insanely good customer service had me quickly changing my tune.

My first vape simply doesn't compare

Dude, just because YOU think vapes are the have-all be-all doesn't mean everyone has to also. I used a fine vaporizer, quite expensive I might add. It was set up and used correctly. Either way, the fact is that you can get just as high as smoking with a vaporizer. An added bonus being that it would literally be impossible to vaporize an entire ounce in one day. I mean that you wouldn't have enough time. If you just sat down and tried to vape an entire ounce in one session it would last you like 72 hours.

The fact that you couldnt vape an ounce in a day (not a fact btw, I'm sure you've never tried) makes it LESS preferable. I could get higher smoking an ounce in a day than I'd be if I smoked a third of one, as you suggest. And since "you can get just as high" as you say, well wouldn't you get higher smoking more? Ooops, guess you didn't think about that before you typed it huh.

No hard feeling man, but you sure are making it hard to stay pleasant. Really, why are you so adamant about making my preference seem inferior?

Because I had the same skepticism of vaporizers and thought like you (Except for the whole smoke an oz a day kill my lungs waste my money part) . I hated the vape and regretted buying it for a couple weeks.. until I learned how to use it. I'll get a video up so you can see the vape clouds I am talking about. I am still sure that you haven't vaped properly yet.

And I got nothing against you, I would call bullshit on someone in real life if they said they smoked an oz a day.. or I'd probably tell them that if that was in fact true, that's all the more reason to start vaporizing. I heard lung cancer isn't fun.
