Hey Everyone,

So I was supposed to take a pre employment drug test today. I had 24 hours to complete it and I was handed the form yesterday at 4pm. So the paper says the lab is open from 9 - 2 on Saturday, cool, so I spent the morning prepping my synthetic urine (which was a nightmare!) The tube didn't fit over the bottle to pour the urine into the pouch, so I ended up having to cut the corner of the pouch and insert the urine that way and then I sealed it with a lighter and some packing tape, it seems to hold.

So my problem is:

I get there at 12:30 for the test and they're frickin closed! The sign says they close at noon! So I call my potential employer and let him know the paper he had given me had the wrong hours, he was nice and said go ahead and do it first thing Monday.

So my question is, will this urine sample still be good in two days? I activated the heater and so the pee was warmed and will now be cooled (I do have an extra heater) and the pouch may not be perfectly sealed due to my cutting the corner and sealing by melting the plastic. I also know there is at least a little bit of air that got trapped in the pouch when I sealed it back up. I'm worried that air might get to it somehow and potentially ruin the sample, would refrigeration help save it? I really do not want to spend another $65.00 on another kit especially because I don't know if my background check is going to pass either.

Ok, just got back from the lab, so far so good, the counter guy initialed the form and marked the temp as good. Now I just have to wait to hear if everything goes according to plan, I don't see why not, but the kit I bought seems like it's discontinued (no mention on makers website of product and telephone support was ghetto and did not work) so I'm a lil worried about it.

BTW I was baffled by the lack of protocol and safety of this place. This dude just has me bring the urine out in a cup with no lid, then he proceeds to take the temp simply by feeling the outside of the cup with his hand, no gloves no nothing, freakin gross man, you couldn't pay me a million to handle strangers urine like that.

Ok so got a cal this morning from my potential employer and they wanted me to do another drug test, so apparently this test came back inconclusive or something or they could tell it probably wasn't real. I just told them I had another offer and I was just going to take that one. She got kind of mad but oh well, fuck them invasive motherfuckers anyway.


So anyway, to those that are finding this on a search engine wondering if the stuff works, it does not. The brand was Clean Stream Urine Fetish Kit, it costs like 65 bucks where I got it and it was a waste of time and money. I don't know if it was caused by the 2 extra days I had to keep it stored in the pouch or what. I refrigerated it and then let it go to room temperature for an hour before I started heating it back up for the test. Everything seemed like it was going to work.

Oh well, just do yourself a favor and don't invest in this product.

^ I actually was on the site and wanted to get it, but this all kind of happened really fast and I didn't think I could order it and get it in time. I should of been more prepared since I knew it was job hunting time. But yeah live and learn is exactly it.
