I really think they want us to get our MJ cards

There is this new ad for marijuana on a rock radio station here that really blows my mind. I mean, I've seen tiny ads in the back of classified sections in random publications, but this is the first time I've ever heard a real mass media commercial calling for people to apply for the program.

The ad is SOOO laden with innuendo that it's blatantly obvious that they're promoting a way around the law.

They basically say "if you have anything like headaches, insomnia or even cancer or HIV then you need to come see us. don't break the law. medical cannibus may be the answer. let us find a reccomendation for you to get the treatment you NEED".

headaches?!? i get headaches!

i could just see the announcer winking at me and saying "come on, we'll hook you up bro".

i dont know where you live, but its not that uncommon to see a "420 dr" office just in the middle of other businesses around where i live. i wonder what kind of medicine a 420 doctor has..

this is nothing new in colorado... there's ads in every single news paper, from the biggest ones to the smallest ones, on magazines, even on TV. There have been dispensary ads on TV for almost 8 months now.

whenever you watch the town hall meetings about MMJ related issues you can always tell they have a slight smirk on their face just because of the money. it's not a secret, they have published the annual cities profit from licensing fees and taxes and what not too... it's well into the six figures.

Man, I'm pretty sure all radio hosts are stoners, the classic and alternative rock radio stations are constantly promoting 420 Kingston (seed/MMJ distributor), and they always say who wins shit at like 4:22 (so they aren't interrupting someone).

Apparently last MMJ distributor in Kingston got shut down for selling weed to anyone that walked in, the cops caught onto this and would pretty much fuck with anyone who walked out of the place.
