I come here because I'm no longer allowed to partake in the consumption of all that badass shit going around nowdays. It seems to partly satisfy my need for getting high temporarily.I'm on parole till 2012 and don't feel like risking my freedom any further so for now I just look at pics and drool and wait with anticipation as my time goes by.I used to live in the Calif desert(ridgecrest) from 1976-1980 and we would run across just about any kind of weed imagineable but they have so many types avaiable now that a person wouldn't know where to start,or I wouldn't.Anyway hello to all heads out there and be cool.:cool :

You should avoid people, places or things that are associated with weed. If you keep drooling then it might wear you down and nobody should have to go to a violent place for liking weed.

Thanks Mr.O I have done a pretty good job of distancing myself from my old friends and such.Believe me life is pretty boring around here but I'm cool with that cause I know what awaits me in the end.I think this one place I can go around people who get high and not get into trouble.Anyway thanks again.

I'm here because I'm full of imaginary imagery intended to import insecurities into your inner intricacies. That, coupled with the fact that I smoke tons of pots, lead me here. Known about yahooka for years but never actually checked out the boards until this morn and saw something I wanted to reply to so BAM, signed up for that shit. I'm outspoken and usually ramble when discussing topics I find important so get used to it because I'm not going anywhere unless I decide to go elsewhere. In other words, hello, how are you? I like thinking of myself as an intellectual, whether I am or not nobody knows but one thing is for certain... Mario Van Peebles.

Well thank you very much, it's always nice to be found interesting. I started smoking about 4-5 years ago, had the best first smoke out ever. I just bought a dub from my friend and we rolled a blunt then he rolled a blunt to match so my first time smoking I smoked two blunts between two people, damn was I faded. He dropped me off three houses down from mine and it took me like 10 minutes to get inside the house. I finally made it to my room and turned on Dogma but after the first scene I thought I'd been watching it for like 3 hours and got really bored and turned it off and just chilled out listening to the Beatles. Oh, that was fun.

See, there's that rambling I was talking about. What about you, FineazPR?

There is no better band to listen to whilst ripped. Side 2 of Abbey Road is excellent...along with Side 3 of the White Album. Put the Bose headphones on & you're off to another orbit.

I completely agree, if ever I find myself high without anything to do I'll just kick back and listen to The Beatles. Have you heard the Love album? A lot of the songs were redone to kind of flow together as one for a Cirque De Soleil show inspired by Beatles music. The show itself is pretty good but the sound track is one of the most amazing things I've ever listened to. From the hauntingly accoustic guitar on While My Guitar Gently Weeps to the crazy mixing of For the Benefit of Mr. Kite with I Want You (she's so heavy) it's one of the most well put together albums I've ever heard and it adds a breathe of freshness to these already amazing songs. Crap, I just realized that if you have heard Love I just wrote most of this for nothing. Oh well, I know the solution!

Sounds awesome!! No, I got the albums when they were 1st released in the 60s. My White Album has the poster & the 4 -- 8" x 10" glossies of each of the 4 of them. Also, my Sgt Pepper's album has the cardboard cut-outs that it initially came with. Plus the inner booklet with Magical Mystery Tour. I also have Beatles '65, Something New, Meet The Beatles, Revolver, Rubber Soul...all of them still on the Capitol Label.
I remember being floored when the White Album [being a 'double album'] cost $6.98 when 1st released & thinking what an exhorbitant amount of $$$ that was.
I also own a bunch of their 45s & still being in the pictured sleeve. Been offered a lotta money for my collection, but I'm not in the market to sell such masterpieces. 1 last thought -- I think the way Side 2 of Abbey Road [which came out on their Apple Label] was coordinated...the way each song [from Mean Mr Mustard to The End] just flows into the next 1...is totally brilliant.

That's awesome, man. I would give anything to have lived through the 60's and have experienced all my favorite music as it was just being released. I really can't take too much of todays music but I could listen to the Beatles or Dylan all day. Perhaps that's part of why I enjoy the Love album so much, it's a breathe of fresh air yet it's been pulled off in a way that doesn't detract from the original material as one may think it easily could, but adds to it.I can't blame you for not wanting to sell that amazing collection, you can't put a price on such an awesome and integral part of the history of that time period. Not surprisingly, I agree with your Abbey Road comment, there are truly tons of things the Beatles have done which could be called "totally brilliant".
