Hi Cloud,

Sorry to hear you are not doing well (bodily). I hope your stay here remains mostly tolerable. They had to pull out my whole colon and I have IBD and Diarrhea, daily, probably for life, but I guess it could be worse. I meant to be cheerful but i don't think it worked. I do wish you well though. Take care, Otto

collegeville, is that northeastern??

Live in a few parts of PA in my day.

Try searching PA or Pennsylvania in regional unity. I know there be the stoners around.

Hi everyone, my name (here) is Felix. I am new to here, but not new to cannabis. I'm here to talk and meet and learn. Also, I'm in the deep south USA, but that will be corrected next spring, when I move to Colorado. Going pro, baby!

Hi to y'all!

Aaaggh...I've been trying to add my glass pipe website to the headshop links but I keep getting an error message.

I contacted Yahooka, but my emails were bounced back as 'undeliverable'
Then I noticed that some of the headshop listings are not active and I started to wonder if this was still a happening site....I was happy to see that the Forum is current and very much alive and kicking!

Anyway, my name is Mandy, I have a green card and I'm all about getting everybody legalized - the more people we have in the movement, the more power we have.
I'm a middle-aged hippie with three grown kids living in California.

I have recently opened up a glass pipe shop online and if you are interestd, you can check it out at Fair Price Glass Pipes
If you are not into it, no prob.
I'll be back later!

Hi Manny,
I'm Mandy, I'm in my mid-forties, too!
bummer that you live in a non legal state.
Just be really careful about telling or showing friends your grow area, its exciting and one person tells one other person etc. and then you put yourself at risk
Looking forward to hearing about your progress!

Researching legalization information

PE.com held an online debate on legalizing medical marijuana recently. After watching it I started poking around the internet looking for more information about three propositions gaining signatures to be on California's ballot next year to make marijuana legal. I came along Yahooka and hoped to find out more news.

I am from the hippie days (1960s) when our parents didn't have a clue about marijuana. Things have sure changed. I am hoping for progress in the acceptance of marijuana. With proper regulation and taxation it could be very much a win-win situation.

The medical benefits are really legitimate. It really does more GOOD than any harm. Used responsibly, it is harmful. No one has died from smoking marijuana. We can't say that about alcohol or tobacco, now can we?

So, that is why I am here.

Thanks for askin'.

Right on! A really great site for up to date information on medical cannabis is a site called MediCann - I have found this to be an excellent legitimate resource.

Basically, same story....I'm 55 yrs old & have been tokin weed for the past 40 yrs. Luckily, my folks were very lenient towards weed-smoking. They grew-up during Prohibition & would tell me about the 'Speakeasys' they'd frequent to drink some booze. They'd hang at this 1 place that was a bookstore in the front & just like you've seen in the movies, there was a door in the back. Knock on the door...then mention who you knew & then you'd be allowed entry.
Everyone drank out of coffee cups [so nobody could actually see what you were drinking]...pretty much as a 'formality', as the pigs were paid-off to look the other way. Now what did Prohibition accomplish? The start of the Mafioso in the USA, as they knew running booze was a goldmine.
I don't understand why the govt hasn't seen the same thing with weed prohibition. So many different things would be resolved with across-the-board Legalization of weed...it's unreal how much $$$ the govt would/could generate with Legalization, but this isn't the forum for my soap-box preachings.

What Voltron and Pjsg70 say are my sentiments exactly!
Since Proposition 215, also known as the Compassionate Use Act of 1996, the legalization movement in California has grown very strong.
I never thought I would be able to go to a cannabis club like people can go to bars!
The first time I went to a club in Berkeley, I felt like I'd died and gone to STONERS HEAVEN - it was a dream come true. One of the best days of my life!

My first time on here was after googling smoking indoors and trapping the smell of skunk weed. Lo and behold Yahooka! I got what I wanted and almost left but a thread caught my eye and before I knew it I was browsing the forums for a couple hours. Haha
