Education
So as I mentioned in the "Introduce yourself" sticky, I came back to weed when I turned 30. I was a real casual user when I was a teen but have come back to it and fell in love. However, I am pretty ignorant about some things.
First off, what is everyone's preferred smoking method. Right now I have a bowl but some friends tell me that it uses more weed than saying rolling a blunt. I don't really have the patience to roll. I don't want to invest too much and need to keep it somewhat discreet due to having small children. Also, whats a keefer? I read an article about something and the mentioned a keefer. I here a lot of terms slung around as well. Like what's the difference between say chronic and kush? Is it just different slang or is it a certain strain. Is there a preferred strain in the Northeast? Also, I've thought about making some brownies or other cooking methods. Anyone got any recipes, specifically how much weed to use in making a batch of brownies. |

I find blunts to be more wasteful than pipes. You can half pack a bowl much easier than half smoking a blunt.
Keefer/keef/keif is trichomes on weed(the shiny crystals) which can be compressed into hashish. That's the good stuff. Some weed grinders have "keif" catches, which is the delicious shiny weed powder at the bottom of the grinder(beneath the mesh screens). Chronic in states where weed is legal is usually a step below "name-brand" such as kush, Sour Diesel, Northern Lights, etc. But where I'm from chronic can be anything just some smoke worthy smoke. Kush is actually a genetic of cannabis it's not quite a strain that I know of atleast anymore. There are many kinds, ex: hindu kush, purple kush, OG kush, etc. There's a whole section of the forum dedicated to cooking with weed. Check it out! enjoy!
