a couple of suggestions (prob. already on the list tho):



some ppl can't view their own profiles while logged in.

the hardwired forum style in the yahooka style chooser isn't fully complete.

maybe the search engine could be updated.

at a lot of forums, you're able to give -neg. feedback. we have thanks. maybe a "no thanks"?

maybe more than five pic uploads @ one time (with growers in mind who want to post pics of their grows here without using a third-party hosting site).



just some suggestions. and welcome to the site! some nice changes already. the new placement of the a&p forums kind of threw me for a loop, tho.

Also to prevent vandalism you could make it so people who have been here a few years/have a few posts have greater permission on the wiki. That way we could all help to clear up the inevitable vandalism/retardation.

this. i brought this up a couple times when i was a mod and it eventually resulted in the thanks system, but a no thanks or just a proper 'karma' type system would be better in my opinion. at least make the thanks feature available across all forums.

post counts in FFA would be nice, i don't understand the logic of it not counting.

Personally I don't really care about post counts, but I also don't understand why they took FFA posts away from the count. It is the most active forum, and although a lot of useless/controversial(I know I spelled that wrong)/whatever gets posted, the freedom allowed in it is what makes yahooka yahooka.

i dont think many people use projects, community, or calender
i could be wrong

no thanks is good in theory but most every post by certain members as well as certain types of posts/threads would inevitably become clusterfucks. i personally feel that point systems are superfluous because a poster's reputation is determined by his posts anyway, but if special recognition is to be given to a certain type of post it makes much more sense to recognize what is helpful than what is unhelpful. no thanks would just draw more attention to what we're already trying to forget is around. what's the use in that?

i agree it should apply universally to all forums though. and posts in ffa should def count if posts are being counted at all.

I agree with the no thanks thing but it should be a karma system like somebody mentioned, you can get good karma and bad karma.

oh and maybe members that have been here over 5 years (green names) don't have to have the 30 second post restriction since it's not like were gonna spam random crap or anything

its like sometimes when your stoned or you got a good buzz on and your feeling it goes post after post your in the zone your totally clickin with what everyones saying and your typing so quick but them bam. the 30 second thing

I can't remember for sure, but I think the idea was that FFA is largely unmodded, and so to avoid having people posting over and over just to raise their count, those posts don't count. Thats the only thing I can think of.
