For sure Mikey, we are working on getting out all the admin and growing threads that have sensative info. After that I believe it to be that we are going to leave the lost threads as a place where people will be able to search their posts and bring them to mod attention to move them out into the correct place. Otherwise they will just be searchable in that forum, with no new posts or replies. If I understand correctly.

FoTwenny, I am here to work, once the project is completed I will step down as Admin. I will not Admin or Mod any members only the site and only what current admin/mods agree to change/remove/update.

I don't know if he's getting paid. I think it's more of a trade between him and TC.

Don't worry Envy. As your name implies, previously admins were appointed from the member base, but over the last few years those that have offered their help voluntarily have been given the cold shoulder.

But given the quasi-sensitive topic of this forum and website, one has to find someone they trust, which may mean extending beyond the membership. Also it does seem like there have been compounding problems that may require a paid fixer.

it's being worked on. although it took sage mere seconds to completely jack everything up, it's going to be a much slower process getting them all back to the right spot.

What about an option to get taken to a random thread, with an option to choose how broad of a scope you want the randomness to be?
Like you can just click the button and enjoy the ride, or you can choose that you just want a Higher Thoughts thread from between 2003 and 2005.
Something like that would be cool for those bored moments when there's nothing better to do.

what I really liked is going back to my posts from 7 years ago and just seeing what kinda shit I wrote and asked about and seeing how much I've changed and grown as a human being.

You can still search your old posts and atleast get a title name if not a link that we who can view that forum can use. I would bring them back for you, the ones you started, if you'd like and I can figure where they go, unless you want them all dumped in FFA.

Is it possible we could add the function where you're notified somewhere of the people who've quoted and hence responded to you? It's just that I've seen it used on other boards and it's very very useful.

a neat idea but isn't this feature covered by thread subscriptions? i know, i never use em either but still

edit: actually i guess there could be a tab in your profile that shows recent responses or something, like a new posts for posts in which people quoted you. could be p cool and prob easy to implement
