I wish I could say his health is ok, but it's not. After six years of dialysis with little or no problems, we are really starting to have some serious complications arise. He has been in and out of the hospital since January, so to be honest he really isn't doing well.. Life certainly isn't easy or fun at the moment, but we still are happy together...

Thanks for the well wishes guys. We could really use them now, just found out some really shitty news yesterday. My husband has a really bad infection inside his belly where the peritoneal dialysis catheter is, very bad. So this means he has to have surgery on Monday to remove that cath. and put an emergency acsess for hemodialysis in his neck. This is something he swore he would NEVER do. But he says now things are different, and he wants to stay alive to be with me. We are both terrified. Sometimes I wonder what makes me so special that he would go thru all this hell, just to be with me..

Anyway folks, take care of your health, don't ignore your body. It is so fucking fragile, life is fragile. Live everyday like it's your last, that's what I say...

I think the thing that makes you so special could perhaps be that you are willing to go through hell with him. I wish the best for you both. Love is a gift, choosing to love is ever so special. Much Love.

Well us being togther makes all of this worth it, we both agree on that. Just hard to watch the one you love most, suffer. I haven't left
his side literally for two months. When he was in the hospital for three weeks, they were kind enough to give us a private room. I stayed every single day and night, I would only leave for two or three hours a day to go shower and change clothes. Somehow we
became closer than ever. I will fight with every breath I have to get him better, if not better, as comfortable as possible.

If I could only switch places and be the sick one....

Thanks again every one!! It's really
nice to be back here at yahooka, without this place my sweetie and I wouldn't be together.
