Just thought I'd stop in and say Hi from Connecticut, USA.Two yrs ago I was diagnosed with Anirexia (not the visual one, can't swallow food. go figure) and a sleep disorder then in Dec on the anniv. of my wifes death, I was diagnosed with a brain disease.In a nutshell I should have dimentia in the next 10 yrs so. Anyways I refuse to let these things get me down as life does go on and I want to partisipate. lol This will be my 2nd yr growing andI am going to try scrog method. Well thats it for now, Ill keep u posted with my SCROG and more than likely be asking for advise here and there. Thanks and Happy Growing All

Holy shit, dude....sounds like you've been thru the wringer!! Major props on keeping your sanity. Dementia? Damn!! I always figured that to be something for people in their 70s or 80s.
I hope things stay OK for you for awhile at least. My wife has 4th stage emphysema & pulmonary fibrosis...on oxygen 24/7...in need of a lung transplant...so we're just taking life 1 day at a time.
Whadda ya gonna do, right? Pick up the pieces & try moving on...is what people keep telling me. I'm sorry to hear of all your misfortunes, but you seem to keep a good attitude.

Hey Zoltron, thanks for the words of encouragement dude. I can definetly relate with what your wife is going through, my wife passed because of difficultieswith COPD. The last 6 mths she had to sleep sitting up or she would go into a coughing fit. Finally her heart and lungs just gave out. As far as my sanity hahahahahahaha, I look at it this way, I had 23 awsome yrs with her and I am truely grateful for that time. There are ppl on this planet that won't experiance a 10th of what I had. As far as my problems, I've been partying for 40 yrs now, at times pretty hard. Something had to wear out.I cant afford to let it get to me .I still have family who depend on me. Besides All you get from sitting on the Pitty Pot is a Ring around your Ass. Thanks bro...& you'll definitely be in my prayers as well. I know a lotta peeps don't believe in the 'power of prayer', but I tend to disagree. Prayer has gotten me thru a lotta difficult times in my 56 yrs.

Hey Zoltron, I was thinking about you and your wife last night and after just reading an artical in Weed World I had to ask. Does your wife still or has she gotten high lately? Tha artical was on Marijuana Oil and after you make it you place a couple drops under ur toung and let it desolve or put it on a small peice of bread and eat it. Hiya Tim....Sad, but true, the wife doesn't partake at all!! Hasn't toked in about 20 yrs. Quit when I knocked her up. I keep trying to get her to take 1-2 bonghits [as the weed my grower pal sends me is unbelievably potent], but she wants nothing to do with it. Totally bewilders my cranium!!
I also used to be a die-hard old-schooler...thinking we had the best smoke back in the 60s/70s/80s. Man, was I ever proven wrong!! I remember how we could toke all afternoon & evening...the Michoacan, Oaxacan, Acapulco Gold, Jamaican, Colombian, etc, etc. This herb that is produced nowadays...there's no way in hell I could smoke that all day. I'd be a total wastoid [wait a sec...I already am!! ].
All these 'new' strains are very strong & all I can toke is 3, maybe 4 bong blasts & I'm good for 3-4 hrs. The only weed I can think of that might come close would be the Thai-Sticks of the 1970s. The little skinny ones with the tight nugs entwined with that somewhat 'stem-string'. $13/Stick in 1976. My buddy & I were in Denver at his crib & he had 1 of those bamboo bongs with an inverted thimble for a bowl [a hole punched in the top...or now bottom of the thimble]. We did 2 bonghits apiece & sat in total darkness, no music, no TV...& we assumed a few minutes had passed. It was 2 fuckin hours!! No talking, no sound whatsoever for 2 hrs...& we thought it was 2 minutes.
Anyhow, to make a long story even longer...I appreciate the tip for my wife to try, but I've been barking up that tree for years now. I even bought a vaporizer, thinking since we both quit the cigs, maybe she'd try that...but to no avail. I escaped any problems after smoking cigs for 40 yrs...but she's born & raised here in NC [tobacco country] & smoked 2 packs a day.
Thanks again, my friend, & maybe I can convince her to give that a try.

Just thought it might be easier with the 3 drops under the tongue rather than smoking with her lungs. Have a great day dude.
