Man you've been all over.....I've only lived in PA and NJ.......I wish I could move around experience different places..would love to live in Northern Cali,or Alaska ...been both places and it was so awesome,cool laid back people.....not like people around my area(south jersey)....I need to hit the lottery so I don't have to work and I can just pick up and move every so often

Yeah well, I got into travelling from 1972-75. Hitch-hiked cross-country 3 times & went 1800 miles deep into Mexico to Acapulco. Fun times back then. Some of the escapades we'd find ourselves involved with were pretty intense &/or hilarious.
Sometimes my buddy & I would find ourselves in some sketchy/hairy/insane situations. The fact we lived thru some of the shit is nothing short of a miracle!! I would NEVER jeopardize myself like that again...way too old to be incarcerated...could never put my wife & son thru shit like that.

Ya, back in the day, hitch-hiking was how it was done.

There were some strange events that happened from time to time, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. It helped make me who I am today.

Yea,my father in law is a old time hippie...he has a bunch of stories of how when he got back from vietnam he hitch hiked across the country 3 times.....some great stories.....the glory days.....wish it was like that nowadays.....it would probably be hard just to get picked up......no one picks up hitchhikers anymore....accept my father in law.....lol
