I didn't read the book, I had no idea wtf the watchmen was until I saw the movie previews. Saw it today and I was thoroughly impressed. At first glance I thought it would be similar to the lame batman/spiderman movies but I was pleasantly surprised.

It was very well done and even though I've never considered having a 'favorite' superhero before, DR. Manhattan is now reserved top spot when it comes to fairy tale heroes and shit.

def. 99 popcorn kernals out of 100.

I was lucky enough to get to read the book in school about a year ago, never heard of it until then. I plan on going to see the movie sometime

I've never read the book (which is rare when it comes to a comic) and the movie was amazing. easily the best movie I've seen in a long time. despite the fact that it was pretty long, I was never once bored. the visual effects, *continues singing praise*
anyway, go see it.

I saw it on thursday midnight screening, it was pretty awesome. Rorsach was definitely well done as a badass. I'm excited for the directors cut, i hope its like 5 hrs long haha.
