this game wasnt released in the US (no idea why...)

but this game is pretty much amazing



its a hack'n'slash RPG, but its relies heavily on timing. its very punishing (meaning if you dont manually dodge, parry, or block an incoming attack) you will be taking heavy damage, and you will be dying (A LOT). most bosses and some normal enemies can kill you in one hit (if not dodged/blocked/parried)

when you die, you dont just load from the last save point, you start the level in 'soul-form'. the only difference between human and soul form is that in soul form, you maximum HP is half of your HP in human form.

there are four ways to regain human form.
1. an item (rare)
2. kill a demon (aka a boss, hard)
3. invade another persons online game, and kill them
4. join anothers online game and assist them slaying a demon

regardless, you spend the majority of the game in soul form.

anyone looking for an extremely challenging and fun game should try importing this game (id try fun-asia.com). just be sure to get the asian version as opposed to the japanese version. the asian version is in english, the japanese is not.

ya, it was just recently announced its coming to NA in the fall if you can wait till then.
ive killed three bosses so far, the dude pictured is techinically the second box, but you can attempt others.

he was also my favorite boss so far, he has a powerful cleave with his sword - an unblockable one shot, he does a shield slam that takes 3/4 of your life and stuns you, and he has a ranged magical attack if you are out of range of meelee, he also has a jump-back move if you are standing behind him. oh also, there are 8 crossbowmen reigning down bolts from above.

my strategy was to sprint past the tower knight dodging his attack to run up the stairs to dispatch the crossbowmen. then i run back to the tower knight, and try to get behind him. i hacked at his ankles until he fell down, then went to town on him.

just be sure not be under him when he falls down *SPLAT*


i checked out the infamous demo , its fun, i like to just run around electrocuting and climbing buildings. im not sure if id enjoy the actual game, i got bored of GTA4's missions (and i fucking hated having to go out on dates with my friends, so fuckin annoying)

haha no really if you get the one that plays ps2 & ps1 games it's easily the most bang for the bang in the this gen.
