fuck that.

you have to wear glasses that electronically "blink" alternating left and right eye to create the illusion of 3d. sounds to me like my head/eyes would hurt like bitches after watching a 3d film.

but still pretty wild that this shit is already happening. too bad humans aren't interested in creating useful technology. so much potential and its being wasted on TVs...

^ yeah, i hear ya. i know a couple ppl that get headaches when they look at a strobe light, id imagine it to be the same way for them. luckily, im not one of them. but more to the point, im just excited to see something like this actually exists, and to the point for consumer uses. it's not even fully released yet, and those glasses on that site are just the prototypes. either way tho, if this technology catches on like hd did, it will be the next standard, and a sweet ass one at that... if it catches on.

and tbh, most ppl probably wouldnt be able to afford 3dhd for several years after the technology expanded and became standard, so if it does make it to that stage i see it becoming less intrusive i.e. no 3d glasses, more compatibility for other items, ect...

ESPN is broadcasting the Ohio State vs USC game in 3d, although you have to watch it in a theatre/auditorium in Columbus/LA/ and someplace in Texas
