X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I just barely got the DVD today, and I did watch it in theaters I have to say one of the best films this year in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Anyone else watch it? What are your opinions on it? (I can already feel flamers crowding around this thread) I personally thought it was an awesome movie, right after I got out of the theater from watching it I told myself that I would buy it on DVD. So here I am! Pretty good stuff, the extra commentary and what not is not so bad either. Only thing is that I keep hearing people complain about how they fucked up on deadpool. But I personally found deadpool even after the transformation to look pretty badass. What are your thoughts guys?

I hated what they did to deadpool, but liked the inclusion of gambit...

Overall it was a good origins movie, had enough to make me want to see the sequel...

Although the end was a cop out, with the dismemberment and the "just keep walking" tackiness...

You do know even after the credits, deadpool is still alive? Sorry to ruin that if you didn't know. But yeah his head is laying next to his moving body, and then suddenly his eyes open and goes "shsshhhh". Pretty funny if you ask me, cause the nigga said "stfu".

I thought it was pretty decent, definitely worth watching to kill a few hours if your bored. I kinda thought the movie was all over the place, in terms of locations and story though. I guess with these kinds of movies it's more about the action and less about a perfect story. I did however really like the first parts of the movie where it went over wolverines early backstory, saw some stuff i didn't know before. Not that i am a huge wolverine/xmen comic fan, and it could have been slightly inaccurate from the comic version. It's been a while since i seen it though, ill probably watch it again sometime.

i thought it blew chunks. like how wolverine and the badger DUDER would run at eachother the same way before every fight. sooooo lame.

the fact that you'd make a thread about this movie let alone about how it's awesome and one of the best movies of the year.... takes my breath away..

whatever dude, i gave up on xmen when the everyone started to have thoes protective orbs in the comics. SOOOOOOOO lame.

xmen were dope until like 1997. they've been pretty dead to me since then.

the first xmen flick almost pulled me back into the universe, but this shit has done it for me again.

X-men? Im talking about Wolverine only. You do know Wolverine has his own comic strip series by himself right? Hence the whole "origins" movies that are coming out.
