I hate to say it, I had high hopes...

Year One sucked. I fell asleep like, half way through it.

For shame Michael Cera and Jack Black. Oh well, guess they can't all be winners.

Yeah. Although, I wasn't sure I made the thread or just commented in one. Or, I made and thread AND commented in another one.

Wait, wait...there were movies at the end? Or moments?

Jack Black is a son of a bitch. He's very funny sometimes and very annoying at others.

Anything with the words 'Fast' or 'Furious' in the title.

The Usual Suspects

Mirrors

13 Ghosts

Halloween 3

Police Academy whatever.

Q&A

I could go on and on.

On the other hand, Kung Fu Panda fuckin' rocked!

the usual suspects.. horrible?

Vastly overrated I'd say but it was decent enough.

Too slow moving and the slapstick humor didn't compensate. I guess if I was in a really good mood I wouldn't be so miserable watching a movie like this again... afterall, I tried to incorporate popular not so obvious choices.

I can honestly say that 40 year old virgin is one of my favourite comedies, and I had VERY low expectations going into seeing it.

<embed id='vidilife_movie' name='vidilife_movie ' width='445' height='363' src='http://www.vidiLife.com/flash/flvplayer.swf?xml=ht tp%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Evid iLife%2Ecom%2Fmedia% 2Fplay%5Fflash%5Fxml %2Ecfm%3Fid%3DCC1986 EC%252D494E%252D4710 %252DB32C%252D3%26f% 3Dflash8%26embed%3Dt rue' quality='high' bgcolor='white' play='true' loop='false' allowScriptAccess='s ameDomain' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' pluginspage='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer'></embed>

Same with Beer Fest... I don't know what it is about that movie, but I just think it's hilarious!

I just remembered what has got to be one of the worst: Dumb and Dumberer

Also Clerks 2, while not horrible, was severely lacking. It had like 2 or 3 good jokes the rest was falling flat.

A general rule of thumb...If a movie's title is also the plot, theme and central action of said film it's best to stay away...

i actually kind of liked clerks 2. definitely lacking in some areas though.

the last time i went back home to the netherlands, KLM played Wild Hogs twice. twice on the way there, and twice on the way back 3 weeks later.. i think the other movie was the equally if not more forgettable Miss Congeniality 2. BRUTAL movies.

Napoleon Dynamite... mad film that.

The first time I experienced it I was in a mates and it came on the Movie channel as like a mega premiere motherfucker... got like 5 minutes in and we were like what the fuck is this shit???
I mean, that beginning scene where he ties a toy to a string and drags it behind the school bus... wtf???

Needless to say it got switched off.

Watched it a few weeks back in a friends flat after a party... I was crashed on the floor and couldn't really move, plus they are all pretty obsessed with it... so I got to see it the whole way through (woohoo!)

Must say, although some parts amused me... and the lead guy does do the nervous persona really well, I was still like wtf? for the most part.

Just don't get it... I suppose it's a geek film.
