Borderlands

anyone else pick this up? i got it for xbox and its crazy fun. Its a mix of FPS and RPG, all the combat is FPS but you level up and the loot system is randomly generated for the weapons so there is like 500,000 possible guns you can loot in the game. it took me 40-50 hours to beat both difficuly play throughs and another 10-20 to mop up all my quests and do the other achievments so its definatly worth 60 bucks in my book, most games dont even provide half that amount of time these days

also theres 4 classes with different skill trees and special abilities for each, the max level is 50

It's pretty fun. Me and my bro play coop on lan, and its pretty cool. My only complaint so far is i haven't encountered any type of bank place for storing extra crap. For the amount of interesting guns involved in the game, the bagspace is definitely limited. The PC menu's and vehicle controls are pretty weak too, but i guess thats to be a bit expected from a port. Definitely a good game, hopefully more RPG FPS games come out.

i thought it was pretty cool from what i saw. not my type of game really though, i dont like spending hours n hours leveling and all that WOW bullshit.

the cell shading and the character models definitely made it look cool, and the guns are pretty cool. it reminds me of fallout
