Watched "Gamer" again.
I think it's a very under rated film, with the introduction of the "Red" camera. I also like the in depth interviews of Neveldine & Taylor. Home : Neveldine & Taylor 9/10

Gamer was balls deep in suck...The scene with McH as the puppet master is the pinnacle of ridiculousness.....

Heres a tale of a night i went out to see some awesome movie. Its also the last time i went to see a movie.
So im going out to see an awesome movie i know i will love, and some fucking moron in the group has to suggest "gamer" while we are in the line for tickets So im forced to buy a ticket for that piece of shit movie which i know is going to suck or i go watch the good movie alone. Sure enough the movie fucking sucked. I wasted weed, time, energy, and life. What a fucking shitty night that was. Fuck movies. Fuck the theatre. I now stay home and just download the fucking movies I want to watch and i watch them by myself or with one or two other people.

It's a bank robbery movie with a twist.

Watched Barton Fink last night, as I couldn't sleep and it's the only Coen Bros movie I think I haven't seen before... well, except for A Serious Man, but I got halfway through that and had to go out... plus wasn't really getting into it anyway.
Anyway, Barton Fink, has to be one of the most confusing films the Coens have made... played a little like a David Lynch movie, definitely lots of parts/characters that exist within the imagination of Barton, but no clear line between imagination and reality, as he struggles between the growing lure of easy money in Hollywood and his artistic integrity. I loved it, but can see why others don't, certainly not for everyones taste. 9.5/10 Watched Horrible Bosses a few days ago aswell, pretty funny, especially the scene where they spill the guys coke! Run of the mill buddy comedy when all is said and done, but like many say, definitely funny high! |
