dragon age: origins

I gotta say, I didn't like the game very much to start with, but after picking up some party members and getting a hang of the combat system, its pretty damn fun.

Im playing on nightmare and I just got morrigin in my party. the first part of the game kind of reminds me of LOTR

My character is an elf mage, not sure which path I want to head down, but I'm leaning for healing/buffing discipline since it seems to have the biggest payoff.

I wonder if that was purposeful too, since I did spend some time playing KOTOR by just setting the moves and sitting back. This definitely keeps me on my toes.

the graphics were definately less than desirable, but game play sure made up for it. i was a mage i think and got to lvl 20 i think before i beat it. i had shale in my party and one of the two rogues to lockpick with. blood magic ftw

the hands pissed me off though, so disproportionate.

My sister has the game and I know she enjoyed it a lot. But personally, I wasn't fond of the game play. As far as RPGs go, I liked Oblivion better. The one thing I liked about dragon age is that you could hook up with people, and you can even be gay and hook up with the little blond elf guy lol. The graphics weren't bad, but they certainly aren't up to par with Uncharted 2 and COD:MW2. Except as I recall, they did a great job with peoples armor and shit in dragon age.
