and even one was going good for a while got 56 percent and since then nothing even budged

No only if you download the program that does it for you.
It's only about 10 minutes of work at the most if you do it on your own.

In fact I literally just finished doing it for my PC when I saw your post.

I don't think it's a port forward issue since you said they worked before and stopped suddenly and even with not forwarded port you should be able to connect to some seeders.
I would suggest to try a different torrent client and to check your firewall, it might be blocking the client accessing the net.

I was under the impression that port forwarding prevents the firewall from blocking incoming connections?

i think the simplest solution would be to uninstall and reinstall the torrent program and when u install it make sure that you set it up so that your firewall doesnt block it


also i would recommend utorrent as i never have a problem with it

A firewall can block or forward ports, this however has nothing to do with firewalls ability to prevent certain software from accessing the net.

If a torrent stops working halfway through, the tracker's dead. Reload [the trackers], and you're either a) Good to go or b) needing to find a better place to get torrents, usually.
