Slaughter and Carnage for Nintendo Wii
Anyone know any good 1st person shooters, or other all out slaughter games for the Wii? My wife won one in an XS-Mas raffle, and while bowling and shit is fun enough, I've always been a Quake/Doom man myself.
Thanks. ![]() The Rev |

The only shooter games i really liked for the wii were the ones using the gun controller thing. I have only played resident evil a few times, which was pretty fun. Links crossbow training was really good, i enjoyed the levels where you got to control the character and wander through the levels. That game also comes with a gun and was pretty cheap if i recall correctly.
The standard call of duty type FPS games are not as fun on the wii in my experience, although i never tried them using the gun, which might make them better. Although i personally prefer my FPS games on the PC. In terms of carnage games that i know are good, super smash brothers isnt a FPS but is definitely a great game. If your more open minded to other game genres, pretty much anything mario based is good times. Or Zelda if you like RPG's. I hardly play console games anymore though, there could be good stuff out now that im missing. Enjoy the wii.

manhunt 2 might be good. i think there'd be something satisfying about using the wiimote to swing a baseball bat to cave someones head in.
theres a dead space shooter that looks awesome aswell

This just looks fucked up, but I can see what you mean about laying down a beating with the wii controller. Save a game like this for really bad days. ![]() The Rev |

When I was a kid I would do bong hits all night with my friend/neighbor playing and eventually beating Zelda on the original Nintendo. Oh, to be young with no responsibilities.

My computer is functions a bit like me, slowly, and with joint pain. It really can't handle Doom3 or any decent computer game like that. I have Quake3 Arena, and that's about the most advanced game the old girl can manage.

i was talking about downloading the original doom, or even better, zdoom - updated doom pretty much the same but with some modern perks like mouse aiming and stuff. Even after nearly 20 years, very little can been the original Doom and Doom 2 in terms of sheer fun.
