in my inspiron 6400 laptop, my hdd is got some problems.

in SMART data on UBUNTU i am getting the following errors:

Count of remapped sectors. When the hard drive finds a read/writee/verification error, it marks the sector as reallocated and transfers data to a special resereved area

Is this repairable or do i have to get a new HDD? And im guessing most of my problems result in the HDD problems, shit like things not installing then cant be uninstalled or reinstalled. The comp in general gts really hot too, and i think that might cause some problems like programs will just close and nothing will open, then programs cant run because says it can't be found. or is it all just the hdd?
