anyone have any experience with this or any other Verizon phone?

I'm downgrading (please PLEASE no fanboyism here) from my iPhone, as I have moved to the boonies and do not get reception. The only companies that have reception are US Cellular and Verizon because they just bought out Alltel.

Suggestions? I am on somewhat of a limited budget, so nothing outrageous. And I personally despise Blackberry's

i don't have any experience with the phone other than the 100x i've seen their advertisements. firstly i think the name is weak. next: the looks arent anything to write home about. The app's aren't even in the same league as an iphone.

Pro's: its a motorola. i predict it becomes the new razr.

never used verizon though and the last motorola i had was a razr

i have verizion, the droid for now is the next best phone from the iphone, and the open source development has allowed for some pretty cool apps...

The razor was shit indeed... that's why I have a hard time trusting Motorola for phones. I had a samsung that lasted well over 2 and a half years so they have my vote.

I was looking at the Droid as a new possibility for myself though, I've had an LG Venus for 2 years now, I'm not even sure when my warranty wears out or I should receive an upgrade

The LG myTouch is alright but my boyfriend has one and has already had a replacement sent because it just shit out

Hm. I might be able to. I'm not sure, AT&T might cancel me very soon due to off-network data usage (all cell companies do this now instead of charging for it)

The Droid is the best non-iPhone available, but anything on the Android operating system is bound to be cut above whatever you're rocking now.
iPhone isn't even all that anymore, cause they're not adapting with what the rest of the phone world is doing... they broke the mold and then forgot how to make new ones.

I have the Motorola CLIQ; it's not as good as the Droid but it's a solid ass phone.

But yeah, like Komp said, if you can, hold out for the Nexus One.

Naw, MyTouch3G is the G2.... The Nexus One is it's own phone.

Hey I got the HTC droid eris and this is why I use for the internet and all sorts of things because I do live in the boonies and the only service that &as anything to offer Is Verizon and they do pretty good. Apple says that they are going to offer the gsm modle of the iPhone when they released the net software update some time in the fall. And that will be th shit and cant wait

i have the older blackberry storm with verizon but i wouldnt recommend it i think theres a new model comin out soon that fixes the biggest issues with it though
