Your experiences with Palm or HTC cell phones?
For a while now I've wanted the Palm Pre Plus (last image) but I read reviews online and about 80% of them were complaining about next to zero battery life, and that it shuts off randomly. So I've looked a little more into the HTC phones, which I really really like more, but are obviously much more expensive.
Just wondering if anyone on here has owned one of these; or just in general if HTC is superior to the Palm Pre Plus, it's hard to ignore the reviews ![]() HTC Aria ![]() HTC Hero ![]() Palm Pre Plus

I had a tilt aka kieser, let me tell you something about windows mobile, it sucks massive dick.
Other than that, great phone. Till I dropped it in a bar. The point of this was that you should avoid phones with windows on them. |

I've got the HTC Desire, which is awesome. Full flash browser ftw. Battery life's not the best if you leave loads of apps running in the background, but not terrible. Android OS's awesome so far.

I cant have shit like that, to prone to loss and breakage and theft, I like a throw away phone that is just a phone.
Understandably if I ever grow up ill need a proper phone, but until then this flippy bullshit pantec is fine. |

I've had HTC's and I did not like their functionality AT ALL. Whoever programmed those devices did not have me in mind, to say the least. I just felt they weren't even a fraction of the user friendliness of an Iphone or a normal Blackberry. I haven't had any experience with Palms, but I like their history, they've been doing it for so long that you would they they must have gotten the recipe right.
The best decision I ever made was to ditch the HTC and step down to a nice, civillian Nokia phone. |
