First off, let me say how fucking HAPPY! I am with windows 7, I rarley if ever get errors and ive yet to have my computer crash from windows just being windows.

Its such an improvement im actually a little shocked even to this day at how well it runs.

http://www.demonoid.com/files/downlo...4294/17637132/

Thats what I used, haven't had a single problem since the day I installed it over windows 7 beta.

I for one, AM encouraging you to pirate this and give it to friends, screw microsoft.

i can get office 2010 ultimate for 79.99 but chase denied my cc cuz it thought it was suspicious...buying from fucking Microsoft is apparently suspicious activity. it must have been a message telling me to not pay for it

7 is basically just vista 2.0. Dont get me wrong, its better, but I dont think it should have been labeled as a new OS, just an upgrade.

That being said, I haven't had too many problems with it, frustrated me a couple of times when installing office, but other than that its ok.

And if you want a free and legal OS :

windows is the common denominator of easy. if you have to go out of your way (ie to some website) to get ubuntu, it is already more work than buying a computer with windows installed

true, but i was commenting on ease of use for the os itself. Once you actually have it and are using it, it is much easier.

Of course, because microsoft sells the shit they make for dirt cheap because a lot of it is cheaply made, everyone is so used to windows, which makes people think its easier. It's really not easier at all. There is a little learning with any new OS, but windows is still more frustrating and agonizing.

im pretty sure he meant that in a sarcastic way because hes the mac maniac.

in other words hes making fun of windows 7 and u saying its not "much worse" than xp as a joke on microsoft in general.

im by no means a defender of microsoft but ive found their software to be way more universal and useful dispite its problems than mac shit....

well i haven't really had any problems since i bought my laptop about 5 years ago. it runs slow when the harddrive is full, and other than that upgrading to windows 7 (32 to 64 bit) makes a slight difference (better) overall. i am more happy with my laptop than the new windows, as it is more or less the same as the others. xp and vista annoyed me more with the security messages, but they toned it down for 7 so its fine

I gotta disagree, vista and xp were so awful I almost threw my computer in the st johns river like a million times, of course this was before I knew what script blockers were and id rape my computer by going to porn sites, something I try to keep off this new one.

I dunno capt, I find windows7 to be a BILLION times more user friendly and stable than xp or vista ever was or could hope to be.
