I'd upgrade the RAM a bit, also how big is your hard drive? Depending on that I'd upgrade that as well.
Otherwise, looks like a solid buy. Congrats.

Well I've already added my old 300Gig hard drive from my other laptop so all together it's 800G storage which is enough, I also use 2 external ones so I never had storage issues.
Of course the RAM, like I said it's got two sticks one 2G and the other 1G, I'll replace the 1G with another 2G or maybe even a 4G. |

Ye at least in Australia they call themselves Aldi Foodstore but the electric and electronic goods they get as "special buys" every week is cheap as fuck and most of the times just as good as 4 times more expensive brands somewhere else. Like diy tools and kitchen appliences, but I've got my Bauhn LCD TV from Aldi 2 years ago for $799 when same size and quality was around $1200 in low budget electronic stuff shops, and I'm still happy with it works perfectly.
The same TV costs $499 now but it's still 100 bucks cheaper then at Harvey Normans or Good Guys or wherever... Aldi is great for groceries too especially for big families who go bulk shopping, a trolly (shopping cart) full of groceries at Aldi compared to other stores can be from $40 to $80 cheaper without quality loss whatsoever. |
