Free DOTA like game, its got a huge following and for a good reason. finally got around to trying it after being bothered by my brother to try it out.

its really cool, it tracks your stats and you gain levels and stuff. if you want you can pay a few bucks to get some extra heroes but you can do fine without paying anything.

to describe the gameplay to anyone that hasnt played DoTA in wc3:

Its like RTS mixed with RPG. Its an RTS map and you choose a hero who you control and level up over the course of the game. each game usually takes 20-40 minutes but some get pretty epic. the point of the game is for you and your 4 team-mates to capture the enemy base. you play against a team of 5 other heroes controlled by 5 other people.

its sort of like a deathmatch meets capture the flag thing. hard to describe really, but i can safely say that its one of the most addictive things ive ever played. i wasted many hours away in dota for wc3 and this game upgrades all the things that made the original great.

im nerding out now but really try it out. its free and awesome.

most def. steam cant make a bad game, like blizzard.

anyone who hasnt downloaded and tried this out is seriously missing out, btw. im obsessed with this game in a way that other games wish they could be.
