LittleBigPlanet2

I feel as though a LBP2 thread is warranted given the awesomeness of this game!

The online play finally seems to be working properly! Earlier today I had a really fun 4 player session going through the various battle levels in the story mode.

Bought the first 1 when it came out... $60. ..... Got super repedditive after a week... Took it back to game stop and they gave me $15... Pissed me off so bad , I ended up selling my ps3 and bought some weed..... Opened my eyes about over hyped games...

Little Big Planet 2 has been great so far. I mean I've only played through the first section of the single player, but for me it's all about the create mode, and I've been having a great time with that. I should hopefully have an initial chapter of my sailor moon game done before February is over. Maybe. My ideas are fairly ambitious, but feasible.

Check out some of the ads. Unlike most game ads they do a pretty good job of selling the game to you.

Yeah you're off the mark, although there are a couple lemmings games within the game.

What it is .. hmm.. I guess a 'game platform'. What you have is essentially a side-scroller with 3 levels of depth and a very functional physics system. There is a single player section of the game, which is pretty much a side-scrolling platformer game similar to the classic mario games, except with physics and more variety in gameplay.

What makes it special is that you're also given a plethora of design tools with which you can create your own levels and games, which, and here's the kicker, don't have to be side scrolling platform games. Almost anything you can think of, as long as it can function in a 2.5d environment, you could potentially create with enough imagination and ingenuity.

There are millions of levels, most bad, but some exceptionally awesome that have been created by individuals in their homes. There are top view racing games, mysteries, puzzle games, top view shooters, side scrolling shooters, time crysis style shooters, even some traditional japanese style RPGs are being worked on within the game's creation system.

of coarse it was over the summer and we sat there baked out of our minds spending nights on that shit.

I can't wait to purchase 2 next week.

For those that have it i strongly recommend: LBP.me

You can browse all the community levels on your computer, sign in with your psn network, and queue the levels for the next time you play lbp2. It's a lot easier to find cool levels this way.

also we can use lbp.me to recommend levels to each other on here!

Clockworx 2 By Nuclearfish - LBP.me - this level is amazingly fun and addictive. i play it at least a few times every time i fire up the game.
