2010 15" MacBook Pro, i7, 2.66GHz, 500GB hard drive, 8GB RAM - pure 64-bit

Geekbench score:

Booted directly into Windows 7 via Bootcamp:

Windows 7 booted along with OSX virtualized under VMware Fusion:

Every thing is fast all around, even booting W7 in virtual (can hardly notice a thing, really).

So how's your rig?

ram: 5.9
graphics: 4.5
gaming graphics: 5.2
hard disk: 5.8

intel core i3 380M, 2.53ghz (2 dual cores). 4gb ram, 500gb hard drive (slow hard drive.. couldn't find anything in the <500$ range that had a 7200rpm)

not too bad. got it less than 2 months ago for 450$ (sale

). it rips super hard when doing calculations for maple, mathematica, macmolplot and gamess (nerd software). my other laptop is nearing 5 years old, so it is now my seedbox for torrents.

Dual 19" LCD Monitors

Boot time is around 27 secs...if I search for a file, I get full results within 1 second (max). I can open every program in my Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc..) at the same time and they will all be fully open within 5-8 seconds. I will never go back to a regular hard drive again!

Shouldn't have cheaped out on the HDD I suppose.

This is the best upgrade a normal computer user can make by far. I plan on slapping one in my MacBook Pro as soon as they are reasonably priced.
