In principal I agree with you clive. Anyone who is "seriously" interrested in electro sounds and synthiness and such would get bored with it fast. You can't make your own sounds, or just alter them a bit. (I can't remember what you can do to them exactly).

But, as an introduction to music, and just fucking around (in collab or alone) it's one of the coolest little gadgets around really.

Yeah. some big issues with this thing. it is simply a musical sketchpad, not a composition tool. I'm looking for some software that I can download that will allow me to use this thing as a simple drum machine/synth after a line into my computer. then further editing/production. the videos on youtubes seem to achieve pretty good results with this typee of setup.

really regretting not buying the pro, basically.

glad i bought this thing, but it's very limited.

Yeah i think theyre pretty expensive though like over 500 for a real one, maybe one day..

Ablteon live is really easy to set up in this regard. It's also a fully fledged Digital Audio Workstation, so you'll be able to do a lot with it.

It's also free if you know what I mean

many thanks, sir. i've heard of ableton, just don't do a lot of the downloading thing beyond itunes.

are you referring to torrents or their website? I'll investigate, i have zero proficiency regarding torrents.
