Just watched the finale, im not sure if I liked it or not. It was a bit at odds with the rest of the show. I liked the fate of the centurions and I think its a shame they werent explored more during the course of the show.

show would have been alot better if it had more centurions and less of the human look-a-likes as the villains. the premiere and most of the first season were cool, after that it felt like they were trying too hard to be all profound and shit.

The whole giving up all the technology thing was stupid as well, why would they do that and to fly galactica into the sun? I think leaving it in orbit as a monument would have been better

SPOILERS!

I was annoyed with the ending for a few reasons:

Cavil fucking shoots himself because one thing goes wrong, wtf? He had been built up as a dark, nihilistic, sadistic murdering bastard and he just says "fuck this I'm out" without trying to do anything or kill anybody?

Starbuck's disappearance explained away by her being an angel or something? This is probably the biggest problem I had with the finale, they basically said fuck the loose plot threads, God did everything. It felt like such a copout and not really a worthy ending to such a strong series.

And Adama just wouldn't do that to galactica, they made his love for the ship an important part of the last season then they go and do that.
