Yo so i just saved up enough money to buy a ps3. fucking stoked

Anyone got any good game recommendations?

Im thinking on getting Red dead Redemption, assassins creed 2. and maybe gta4 first. As all three are cheaply available on ebay and sweet games.

Possibly one or two other games tho.

Any recommendations?

I've had two people tell me to get borderlands lately, i might get it if i can find it somewhat cheap, and word i forgot about the God of War games. LOVED the first one on the ps2. Might get one of the other 2

Great to play solo or CoOp, and four different classes with their own skill trees. Which you can alter as you advance through the game if you want to redistribute to alter your character's talents.

If you eventually pick up Borderlands, pick up the Game of the Year Edition and you'll get all the of the expansion packs that have been released for it.

Uncharted 2, if you want a game that shows off what the PS3 is capable of, or if you just want a really sweet ass game. Uncharted 2 is wicked in so many ways.

Demon's Souls as mentioned before... that one you'll either love or hate.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the only PS3 game I've beaten more than twice (five times in fact). It's pure gold.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the one I'm playing right now and it's fucking wonderful. Totally met all my expectations.

Valkyria Chronicles. This one... you should probably just get it. It's this totally under appreciated strategy anime war game, very reminiscent of WW1. It has a great story, great action, and shit tons of depth. Of all the games I've mentioned, you probably get the most bang for your buck with this one.

And Skate 2 was much better then Skate 3 IMO, bigger world, and more shit to do. Plus my Skate 3 disc got snapped by my xbox.

I've been thinking about getting a PS3, Either a PS3 or a new computer... I played a lot of PS1 some of PS2 and really no PS3. My brother has one, the games just are too complicated. I feel like i need to devote at least an hour to even start the game. I miss pressing the on button and being about to play in 30 seconds. i played Charted 3 but it was too much of like playing an interactive movie then playing a game. I do need a new computer the new Adobe Suite is crushing me.

I've been slowly updating mine. My new cooler just came in, ordering a new video card today, nvidia 560 to be exact, 2 more gigs of ram to bring the total to 6 and then eventually new mobo/cpu in a few months. My current is ok, but I need to make the switch to quad.

Of coarse BF3, Diablo 3 and Skyrim are all available on console, but fuuck the experience is so much better on PS3.

Fender if you haven't picked up Red Dead, the GOTY edition is coming out or came out which has every single expansion released, and theres a fucking ton. Pick that up for sure. I'll be getting it myself.
