MS Security Essentials.

Worth what I paid for it?

Avast is squirrelly.

AVG Free is well, free so I guess I can't complain.

I cleaned up my system with CCleaner after I ditched my AVG Free and then updated my Windows and the MS Security Essential update popped up so I installed it.

What do you guys think?

I recently changes to that because avast was taking up too much cpu speed. I read that MSI is lightweight so got that instead. Seems to work fine.
