Looking forward to any upcoming MMOs?

For me, I'm almost completely sold on Guild Wars 2.

I'm really anxious to see how The Old Republic ends up looking, until then I'll stay on EVE =)

Does Diablo III count as an MMO?

And ya, Star Wars is looking pretty solid right now.

Never got into Diablo so I can't judge. as for The old Republic, I'm really interested to how much a monthly is going to cost before I make the switch from EVE since I've already invested two years in the game, and am currently working on a few long term scams...

I just recently was introduced to guild wars 2, or, saw a preview vid for it. It looks solid, way better than GW1.

I started, and am still playing, Dungeons and Dragons Online, which I heard about through a thread on yahooka two years ago. I think it might have even been started by Aidz, just like this thread

I wanted to play with you guys, but no one who posted their character names seemed to stay on. If anyone is interested Im on the Sarlona Server, and Id be willing to help you get started, into our guild etc. Send a PM.

D3 might be cool, but as much as I like 1 and 2, they kinda tick me off too.. blizzard games in general. Theyre so... unabashedly addictive. i.e. run this quest till you get this item that everyone wants, and there's not much to at least try and cover that up. Also, cartoony graphics (like WoW) doesnt appeal much to me.

DDO is great, if I can try to sell it (cause Im sold on it). Its free to play unless you want to buy content. And its a good balance between traditional RPG character building, and player skill at actually applying your characters abilities for success. Pretty active combat (more or less depending on your class and level).

Preordered The Old Republic, have enough RL friends that are interested in it.

I'm itching for a good MMO.
