"rev" the engine a bit while the truck is in park, if the static increases/decreases with engine rpm, then there's an open in your ignition system somewhere...

cracked distributer cap, cracked insulation on plug or coil wire, cracked plug....etc.

this thread is lulzy. actually its probably a problem with your exhaust, or your brakes. anything but the actual cd player
