Drive

See this movie. Don't watch the trailers, don't look up synopsis, just go see it.

oh man that scene in the elevator from the picture, shit was intense.

ive heard alot of people bashing it, but i liked it. i thought it was cool as far as cinematic value, and the music was cool too.

I think all trailers these days give either too much away, the wrong impression, or both. Trailers for a movie like this I think does both, as I only saw them after seeing the movie.

It really is a to each their own issue at heart, but I think if you go into this movie with certain expectations you're likely to be disappointed. Drive was pretty unique considering most movies out of Hollywood these days... although from looking at only previews you could understandably be expecting more of the same from Drive; don't!

And yeah mafoo, an amazing scene captured so well in a picture... saved it for sure.

i wouldnt say its the best movie ive every seen, but it did have a certain twang to it that i found interesting. i think the director did alot with silence between characters to develope tension slowly as the movie progressed. some gnarly deaths in the movie too
