Please help to find a service using which I can create free websites

Please, can somebody tell me whether there is a website where I can make my own website for free of charge? I mean where it can be easily done.

I used to use a site called freewebs, but they seem to have disappeared

A quick google search came up with Webs - Make a free website, get free hosting as the top answer, and there are a good few others offering free web hosting services, but what you get for free is extremely basic.

Hi, there are a lot of means to create websites. You can create your website either using some professional tools and software like Dreamweaver, FrontPage, or use some special services for people who don't know HTML: ,, On these websites you can make your own website absolutely for free.

What is the purpose of your page? I mean, are you selling something, or is for a hobby or your dog or whatever. The free ones wouldn't be good for business for a variety of reasons (limited bandwidth, doggy slow).
