Grand Theft Auto 5 Announced

Grand Theft Auto 5 Officially Announced - Xbox 360 News at IGN

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOM GOMGOMGMGOMGOMGOMGOG OMGOMG I didnt know if they were going to make another one!

Rumours are they are going back to San Andreas. That was definitely the best game in the series. It was almost like an RPG-lite.

As if Rockstar would stop making more of one of the biggest, if not the biggest, franchises in gaming.

But that said, I'm curious to see what they're going for. The logo suggests that this is gonna take place in Vegas.. and yeah, maybe they'll re-do the multi-city thing with the country side they had in San Andreas. That'd be awesome

I hope they get a little crazier too. I have to admit, I actually had more fun playing Saints Row 2 than GTA4.

If it ran on my comp I would SO get battlefield 3. But the wi-fi connection through my ps3 is for some reason quite unstable so I pretty much only use it for single player games.

So yeah man... until I'm living somewhere I can plug an ethernet cable right into it from a router, I'll have to be content with my fond memories of bad company 2.

I can't wait to play the new gta. I've got San Andreas on my laptop now and play @ work sometimes. I'm efficient like that.

I liked the gta games better after all the mods get worked out. Cars, guns, etc.

Woot, glad they finally announced it. Rockstar started hushed castings for voice actors earlier in the year, so rumours started that something was in the works. They also bought a bunch of domain names, a few with ties to California - So fingers crossed for something in a similar vein to San Andreas. I miss breaking into Area 51, and flying Harriers.

I liked four, the missions sucked, but multiplayer was lulz, there's some sweet mods out on the PC too.

Origin. Game looks fun but I refuse to have yet another constantly running third party app just for fucking video games.

Fuck them, they can have my money when they either put themselves on steam like everyone else or get rid of that origin shit.

Its basically EA's answer to Steam. BF3 and all future EA games are going to require you to have it open and running to play their games, so now you have TWO useless apps running in the background just so you can play your vidja games in peace.

Origin required to play Battlefield 3 - Battlefield 3

yea a return to SA would be sick. SA was where they got alot of things right in the series... would be cool if the story revolved around Caesar....or maybe Wuzi(if he wasnt always blind).....or even sicker the Truth. Id prefer the latter. Just so many badass characters you could roll with, and yes hopefully they bring back all the sections that made up SA+more indoor environs. Come on who didnt love grabn a Sanchez and hitting the countryside or parachuting from that 1 building , you know the one lol.

yeah my favorite memories of san andreas are just tooling around the countryside doing jumps while blzed. i really missed that vibe in 4.\

also like i said the RPG aspect was great with the stats that you had to level up, the gang territories, etc etc

i hated how much they relied on the cell phone in 4 as well, i really just kinda wish they would stop going for the realistic angle and return to the zany vibe of the earlier games. just cuz you can render things more realistically doesnt mean you have to make the gameplay all realistic and boring.
