Who else has never had any interest in watching Parks and Recreation?
had never even seen episode; thought it looked like a retarded office rip off.
think it's been on nbc for 2 years now and I never gave it a second thought. You can get it instant watch on netflix. so I went into this show ready to hate it. the first season is weird. It feels like an unfunny office ripoff. Second season it suddenly grows on you like some kind of parasite. It is an office rip off.. yet it keeps getting funnier and funnier. If there's anyone else who's been avoiding this show, i suggest you watch.

I have been avoiding it like the plague, but I do enjoy the office, so I think i might follow your recommendation.

I don't have any interest in watching that show. Everything; the dialogue, the characters, the storylines; everything is way too contrived on that show.
Most of all, this guys shtick gets old fast.

What I'm saying is.. it seems like most people felt the way I did. But the show is surprisingly awesome.
 this dude is fucking hilarious  then there's this chick, she speaks in a monotone and never smiles and she's funny and hot at the same time.  and this guy looks like the biggest douche bag of all time... but he's actually another hysterical character.  And of course there's Amy Poehler... she was a fuckin disaster the first season. She was literally just trying to be a female Michael Scott. But suddenly in the second season her character gets legitimately funny. Basically, the show will really surprise you.

those 3 youtube vids linked above do not do the show justice. in fact they weren't funny at all , but watch the whole show starting from episode 1 and you'll see.

I've never seen the show, but it's not because I've been avoiding it. I just don't typically want to dedicate a lot of time to watching TV or movies.
